OP Academy Audition - Starting in Jan 2022

What is the OP Academy?

The OP (Oliver Pineda) Academy Program is Latin Motion's most elite training program for dancers. Headed by 10 x World Salsa Champion Oliver Pineda, the OP Academy is the exclusive platform where Oliver personally shares his 30+ years of worldwide expertise and experience in dance training, to you! Technique, fluidity, body movement, coordination, flavour, interpretation, musicality & more, the methodologies, concepts, fundamentals and drills you will find in being part of this program are what differentiates dancers from dancers! Why an audition?

The audition will give us an understanding of where you are at when it comes to dance & what we need to do to get to where you want to be! There are 2 groups of Academy: Groups C&D which is the introductory group, and A&B which is the continous group. Once you've passed the audition, we will allocate a group that best suits your dancing.

What is it like?

Partake in fundamental drills (45 mins), learn a short choreography (15 mins) & perform it solo to your fellow dancers, Oliver Pineda and Mercedes Olivera (remaining 15 mins). Oliver Pineda will personally asses whether the Academy Program is right for you and provide you with general feedback afterwards.
